Meet Recce at Coalesce 2025 and The Data Renegade Happy Hour (Again!)

The Recce team is returning to Coalesce 2025 in Las Vegas, and we're bringing reinforcements! Meet our founder CL Kao, head of data Dori, engineer Andy (joining his first Coalesce!), and Karen Hsieh, principal product manager and Taipei dbt meetup organizer.

As a company focused on transforming data PR reviews and improving data quality through better collaboration, Coalesce continues to be the perfect venue to connect with fellow data professionals and gain fresh insights into how teams are navigating the rapidly evolving data landscape.

What We've Learned Since Coalesce 2024

Last year's Coalesce was transformative for us. The conversations with data practitioners and our fellow Data Renegades provided invaluable insights that shaped our product roadmap. We learned that while data teams have incredible technical expertise, they don't want to spend time on complex infrastructure setup: they want to focus on solving their actual data problems.

This insight led us to completely reimagine how data teams can access Recce.

Introducing Recce Cloud: Zero Setup, Maximum Impact

Based on your feedback, we've built Recce Cloud, our new cloud offering that eliminates all the setup friction. Now anyone can sign up and try Recce with literally zero configuration:

  • Free forever plan for individual practitioners
  • Team plan free trial for limited time
  • Zero infrastructure setup required
  • LLM-suggested validations (our first AI feature!)

We've also been working on LLM guidance to help users get the most out of Recce (coming soon to our roadmap). Because great tools shouldn't require great documentation—they should be intuitive from day one.

Real Impact: viadukt Case Study

Speaking of real impact, we're excited to share our latest case study with viadukt, showing how data teams are using Recce to transform their validation workflows and build more trust in their data pipelines. It's exactly the kind of collaborative, trust-building approach we love to see in the wild.

The Data Renegade Happy Hour Returns!

The Data Renegades are back! We're thrilled to co-host another epic evening with our fellow renegades. Join the Recce team alongside Datacoves, Espresso AI and Database Tycoon for another unforgettable Data Renegade Happy Hour.

RSVP now at luma.com/k7io2un9 - space is limited and last year filled up fast!

Expect great conversations, data-themed cocktails, and the perfect blend of insights and entertainment that made last year's event legendary.

What We Want to Learn From You

This year, we're particularly curious about three key areas:

Collaboration & Trust

How are your teams currently handling data validation and impact analysis? What's working, what isn't, and where are the biggest friction points in your PR review process?

AI Integration

With AI being the biggest track at Coalesce 2025 (17 sessions!), we want to understand how data teams are actually integrating AI into their workflows. Are you using AI for code generation, testing, documentation, or validation? What's promising and what's overhyped?

Data Quality at Scale

As teams grow and data complexity increases, how are you maintaining trust and preventing bad merges from reaching production?

We're especially excited about the Embracing AI and Data Quality and Trust tracks, which align perfectly with where we see the industry heading.

Let's Connect!

We'll be roaming the conference with our new swag, Recce hats, desktop standees, and coasters, so come find us! We're genuinely excited to hear about your data challenges and share what we've learned about building better data validation workflows.

And yes, we're also catching The Wizard of Oz at the Sphere because, well, when in Vegas!

Whether Recce is the right fit for your team or not, we want to understand your world better. Every conversation helps us build tools that actually solve real problems for real data practitioners.
